Hey there everybody,
This is the first workout in the series Core Crusher. The series will contain exercises to strengthen our core.
This particular routine is separated in two parts, each of which contains one exercise combo and one exercise, and the exercises for Part1 and Part2 are different as no one wants to get bored ;). It is a HIIT for only 10 minutes with intervals of 55 seconds work for the combo, 5 seconds rest, and then 25 seconds work for the other exercise and 5 seconds rest. These 5 secs rest are actually time to switch between the exercises, so don’t expect to rest much here 🙂
Each part will be repeated 3 times, and the switch between Part1 and Part2 will be done via a minute of active rest, when we will do basic bounce with our JRs. For those of you who don’t have JR, or are not on the level to use it in a workout, it’s perfectly fine just to jump around to keep your body warm, but give the core some short rest to be able to finish strong the second part of the routine 🙂
As the Workout is pretty short, it can be done on top of some other routine.
However, for those of you who have decided to have a pure core day today, I have added a buy-in and buy-out 😉 to make the workout a bit longer, and to ensure we start with the actual routine nicely warmed up, and that we will finish it strong 🙂
Everyone is free to add the buy-in and the buy-out. In this case, this is 2 minutes of high knees, with, or without a JR.

- 1 min of Bicycle Elbow Strike x5 to One-Leg Leg Lift to Butt Lift x5;
- 30 secs of Plank Scorpion Touch;

Active rest: 1 min of JR Basic Bounce;
Part2:
- 1 min of Wide Vertical Scissors x5 to Side Riches x5;
- 30 secs Plank Jump;
3 rounds
Buy-out: 2 mins of JR High Knees;
